Job Title: After School Program Coordinator

Job Type: Part-Time

Schedule: Monday – Friday (20 hrs/week) 1:30 – 5:30 pm

Location: Bay Bulls, NL

Position Overview: The Bay Bulls-Bauline Athletic Association invites applications

for the 2020-2021 school year. We are looking for an After School Program

Coordinator. This person reports to the Recreation Director, this position will be

mainly located at the Bay Bulls Regional Lifestyle Center.

Duties & Responsibilities: The Program Coordinator will be responsible for the

supervision of program staff and program instruction personnel. He/She will be

required to facilitate the safe movement of primary/elementary school children

from St. Bernard’s Elementary to the Regional Lifestyle Center and then supervise

them while at the center. The coordinator will also be responsible for program

planning and coordinating activities & games during the week.

Required Qualifications:

• First Aid/CPR Certified

• RCMP/RNC Code of Conduct (with vulnerable sector check)

• Valid driver’s license

• Job related experience (Child Care, Recreation, etc.)

Job Type: Part-Time

Schedule: Hours vary from 2pm-5:30pm depending on staff scheduling and availability

Position Overview: The Bay Bulls-Bauline Athletic Association invites those interested to apply to be a part of our After-School Program Staff for the 2020-2021 school year.  Staff will help assist the Program Coordinator in the delivery of our After-School Program. Staff will report directly to the Program Coordinator. This position will be mainly located at the Bay Bulls Regional Lifestyle Center. Staff will be required to start their shift at St. Bernard’s School in Witless Bay to assist with helping children onto the After-School Bus. Must be available to start shift at 2:00pm on scheduled days.

 

 

Duties & Responsibilities: The After-School Program Staff will be responsible for the supervision and implementation of activities throughout the duration of the program. Duties may include and are not limited to cleaning, playing games with the children, organizing, planning, etc.

 

 

Required Qualifications:

  • RCMP/RNC Code of Conduct (with vulnerable sector check)

  • First Aid/CPR Certification, Valid Driver’s License and High Five Certification are considered an asset.

  • HIGH FIVE Principles of Healthy Child Development
