Summer Employment 2022

The BBBAA is presently accepting applications for Summer Employment. We require energetic and skilled people to work in a variety of programs within the organization that focus on play, learning and physical activity for children, pre-teens and youth.  

 

These positions are being advertised under the Canada Summer Jobs (CSJ) initiative. To be eligible for these positions, you must be between 15 and 30 years of age on the start date of the job. You also must have been a full-time student during the previous academic year and be intending to return to full-time studies in the fall. You also must be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident or a refugee under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act. You must also be legally entitled to work according to relevant provincial legislation and regulations.

 

Available Positions:

  • Recreation Supervisor

  • Recreation Program Coordinator

  • Day Camp Counselor

  • Soccer Supervisor

  • Soccer Coaches

  • Maintenance – Pool/Recreation Grounds

 

Hours: 15-40 hrs/week depending on job accepted

Rate of Pay: Various for each job

Period of Employment: June 27 – August 26

Schedule: Monday – Friday between the hours of 7:30AM-5:30PM. Evenings are required for soccer staff, and occasional weekends will be required for soccer and maintenance.

  • Standard First Aid/CPR Certificate (or receipt of registration)

Please note: If you do not have an updated RCMP Code of Conduct with Vulnerable Sector Check or copies of your First Aid certification submitted before the application deadline you will NOT be considered for an interview.
